About Our Nurse Consultant
Hi! My name is Amy Scoville.
I have been in the daycare setting for over 5 years, first as an early childhood educator and then as a nurse.
I am enrolled in the Family Nurse Practitioner pathway at Maryville University St. Louis. My graduation is in the fall of 2026, and I am super excited to be adding NP services to the childcare industry.
When I first meet an early childhood teacher, I let them know that I worked as an early childhood teacher before I was a nurse. I tell them this so the teachers I instruct realize that I know what it is like day-to-day when providing children care and education. I know their job and the amount of responsibility that is required of them.
My passion is children first, but that does not diminish my passion for being supportive, resourceful, encouraging, and fun with teachers, directors, and family. I love what I do!
I look forward to meeting you!
See you in class!
